Lichtsekunden - Resonance
After their two album releases “World Lines” (2023) and “Inseparable” (2024), the previously unnamed trio of Markus Bratusa (guitar), Joe Gridl (bass), and Sebastian Felber (drums) now presents a third album for the first time under their new shared banner “Lichtsekunden.”
“Resonance” (release date: May 15, 2026) is not only a logical continuation of their shared sonic world, situated between a jazz approach and the expansiveness of ambient music, but also an exploration of new possibilities and a clear step forward for the three Austrian musicians.

This time, the recording studio was replaced by an unusual location: the album was recorded in a tower of the centuries-old Esterházy Palace in Eisenstadt, where Joseph Haydn once worked as conductor and court composer.
If you like music by ECM Artists (Jakob Bro, Dominic Miller, Bill Frisell, Tord Gustavsen, Skúli Sverrisson etc.) and other ambient inspired jazz musicians you'll probably be interested in our music as well:
